Escape to OZ
Welcome to a four-day exclusive EASTER event!!
‘Escape to OZ’ is a 1.5 mile forest trail set in the breathtaking Clandeboye Estate!
Drawing inspiration from the classic tale of “The wizard of Oz” and the fantastic prequel “Wicked”, this Easter prepare to be whisked away to a magical land! Embark on a fun-filled family adventure, collecting character names on the ‘Witch’ and ‘Princess’, along the trail, amidst captivating props and visuals.
Upon your return, enjoy a performance by our stars portraying Glinda the Princess and Elphaba the Witch, who will sing and dance with the children in the courtyard, followed by a meet-and-greet and photo opportunity!
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN YOUR 3 HOUR EXPERIENCE:
1.5 MILE ‘ESCAPE TO OZ’ TRAIL:
Embark on a unique captivating trail inspired by ‘The Wizard of Oz’ and its prequel “Wicked”, featuring themed props and visuals set in the wild forest of Clandeboye Estate.
COLLECT CHARACTER NAMES:
Enjoy a delightful quest to collect individual character names throughout the trail.
A TREAT AWAITS:
At the end of the trail, children can collect an Easter treat once all the character names are gathered.
AN ILLUSTRATED CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
Children will receive an illustrated certificate designed by a local artist upon completing the trail, which they can take home and colour in.
SING, DANCE AND MEET OUR CHARACTERS
After the trail, meet our characters Glinda who is the Princess and Elphaba the Witch in the courtyard. They will sing, dance and entertain the children, followed by a meet-and-greet and photo opportunity for approximately an hour.
LOCAL FOOD AND DRINK VENDORS:
This year we have food and drink vendors catering to all tastes! For those with a sweet tooth, we will have chocolate and mallow delights. Please bring both cash and card for the vendors.
CHILDREN ACTIVITIES:
There will be additional independent children’s activities as part of the mini market in the courtyard. (not included in the ticket price).
MUSIC:
Enjoy music played throughout the event.
DRESS UP!
We encourage children, adults, and families to dress to the theme if they wish.
CARPARKING: Please note car parking is limited. We will run two 3- hour sessions a day. If you wish to ‘Escape To Oz’, we advise buying tickets early to avoid disappointment.
